ROYAL NORWEGIAN MINT CATALOG
The Royal Norwegian Mint has decided not to send out catalogs to North America anymore because their prices are listed in Norwegian Kroner and Euros, and not in US Dollars. RSM will start sending out its own newsletter to all Norwegian Mint customers starting this month, where most items will be available. If you can't wait for your issue to arrive, this newsletter can now be downloaded at www.scandmint.com (see above). Most products from the Norwegian Mint catalog are also now available on the web site.

2003 JAPAN BU COIN SET
We have managed to get only a few 2003 Japan BU Coin Sets (the original - not the cartoon Astro Boy version), but are not allowed to market it on our web site because of regional marketing concerns with the Japan Mint. The set will be delivered in late December and will cost $34.95. Interested parties should contact us through return e-mail or by phone 1-877-552-6468. The issue limit for the set is only 6,000 worldwide.

2003 CROATIA PROOF SET
This set has also been delayed from the source, and will be shipped as soon as it arrives. The reason for the delay is not clear at this point in time, but we have been assured that the sets will be here in approx. 2 weeks. At an issue limit of only 1,000 sets, it is well worth waiting for.

2003-2005 NORWEGIAN COMMEMORATIVE COINS

2004 FIFA COIN PROGRAM
We are proud to announce that Royal Scandinavian Mint has been appointed official North American representative for the upcoming 2004 FIFA Centennial Coin Program (FIFA is the International Soccer Federation). The program will consist of 4 silver coins and 4 gold coins, one each from France, Switzerland, Brazil and Uruguay - countries that have played an important role in the success and development of soccer into the world's largest, most widepread and popular sport over tha last 100 years. The coins will be available only in silver sets, gold sets and prestige sets (silver and gold together), and will not be sold individually. The program will be launched in January 2004 and is limited to 15,000 silver sets, 2,500 gold sets and 1,000 prestige sets worldwide. RSM will only receive a small allottment of sets, so it is important that you sign up early to ensure your personal copies. If you are interested in these items, please send us an e-mail and we will put you on the reserve list, without any immediate obligation to purchase. As soon as the pricing for these items is finalized we will offer the items first to the reserve list, and then to the entire list of customers according to availability.
