Once upon a time in a very unique city called Los Angeles, a girl from the East had moved to the West on the quest for the perfect handbag. Met a girl from the West, who was doing her best, selling her perfect handbags - kismet.
Sarah and Helena became instant friends six years ago at a Sarah Shaw Handbags purse party. They discovered that they both boxed, shopped, drank "dirty" martinis with extra olives and were the "style council" to all of their friends.
While traveling through India in 1999, the girls had their palms read. The swami informed them that they would be in business together for many years. In summer 2002, over cocktails, they remembered the swami's prediction... and Style Council was born. Style Council is the home to stylish affordable accessories, pajamas, and more.
